[Dragon296] Please post vehicle rules!

can someone give me a run down on how the vehicle rules are setup in D20 modern? Now that this is out we have 4 different ways of doing vehicles and god knows how many ways of doing firearms. Sigh..i hope a 'standard' is done soon so everyone can unite under one set of rules.

On that note, someone please post how they handle vehicles in the new D20 modern.

Are you referring to the preview that will be in the "Thunderball Rally" game in Polyhedron #152 (Dungeon #93)? That's the July/August issue, so it may not be out untill next month (though I don't know how early subscribers get it).

So the polyhedron d20 mini-game is Thunderball Rally?
That's a scoop!

It isn't meant as a hi-jack, but.... have you more info on this? :D

Perhaps I should stop posting OT replies?

Anyway, the vehicles rules posted in dragon 294(?) for D&D are the same as those in the d20 mini-game Spelljammer in polyhedron 151, basicaly your vehicle has a DR, hit point, a facing!, a speed and a maneuvrability rating like the maneuvrability of flying creatures, a pilot skill in spelljammer against DC 20 (30, 40, 50) allow you to use a maneuvrability one rank higher (respectivly two, three or four), in standard D&D I think it was a handle animals check.

those are the latest vehicles rules by WotC, perhaps it will be those that will be used in d20 modern? or perhaps those in the revised Star Wars will be used?

Then it seems I was correct to send it to Morrus. You can now find the preview blurb on the news page, at the bottom of the Dragon contents summary.
