Dragonborn Warlord Character Sheet (opinions please)

Thanks everyone for your input. I probably should have proof read it, but I was doing it in a hurry. I'll make the appropriate changes. I didn't know what Draconic Heritage did so I never put that it.

I believe the AC should be 17 since he's wearing chainmail AND carrying a light shield.

I've been opperating under the premise that Chain is a +5 AC.

There is room for debate.

However, Corrin (Halfling Paladin) has a Reflex of 14. +2 from his heavy shield. +1 from DEX. The last +1 is likely a size bonus, which would translate to AC. This would place plate at a +7 AC. If plate is +7, then Scale's +6 and Chain would top out at +5.

I may be wrong. But I still believe the XP characters are flawed, despite being "errated." But this is why I set the AC at 16. +5 for Chain. +1 for a light shield. I've been erring on the side of caution.

So long as you or your DM runs Chain as +6, then yes... the AC would be 17.

So I made revisions to the character sheet. I am pleased with it, seeing as I have no IT/graphic design knowledge. (Which is why I can't convert it into a PDF)

On a side note, what's the font that they used for the pre-gen characters? For that matter, does anyone know the font Wizard's is using in 4E?

The cleric's chainmail seems to be +6. I don't think size is adding anything to AC or attacks. I think the misc. +1 on the paladin's defenses comes from the class itself, it appears they get a +1 to all defenses. Who knows. All I know is that with the appropriate changes made, this character should be playable.

The font WotC's using is a custom in-house font, but is very similar to Ravenna. (What I used in the PDF for elements like stat names, character name, etc...) They are also using Helvetica, MentorSans and Mentor Std.

Looking good :).

I too am looking forward to playing a dragonborn warlord. I have made my own version, which looks very similar (no surprise there, since we don't know a lot of powers yet). It's based on the original format but without any special fonts, and includes level-up information as well.

If you're using the KotS Dragonborn Pally as an example, then you'll need to apply a -1 penalty to your Endurance check as well. The DB Pally currently shows all physically based skills as having an armor check penalty.

You're right. Kathra Ironforge's does as well, now that we know that dwarves get a +2 to Endurance. The file's been updated to reflect this.

cheers

What are you guys basing the dragon breath attack and damage bonuses on? The only reference I see is the Dragonborn Paladin. No idea where his +4 vs Reflex is coming from, it could be Strength, but that doesn't make a lot of sense. Damage seems like it might be d6+Con. I know the PrRC has some speculations for the breath, but none of those seem to hold when we look at the Dragonborn Paladin.

All things considered, strength for attack and constitution for damage seem to be the only things that add up and make some sense. With strength being a primary attribute for dragonborn, and constitution having some significance for the draconic heritage racial trait already, i'd say it's pretty likely to be just that combination. In any case, even if damage is somehow calculated differently, with the similar attribute scores we're looking, at most, at a difference of 1 point.

I doubt that has the potential to break anything until one gets ahold of the full rules set.
