BTW, their home page says it is "America's largest annual convention for fans of science fiction, fantasy and horror, comics and art, games and computers, animation, science, music, television and films". Who are they kidding? Attendance is about 20,000 people at Dragon Con. The annual San Diego Comic-Con and Pop-Arts International, which features all of the listed elements, came out to somewhere between 85,000 and 115,000 people this year! I'm not trying to bash Dragon Con (it is a fine Con, and I want to go), I just think they are exagerating a bit when they say they are the "largest" con covering those genres.

I'm planning on attending, but am not able to determine which days yet. If someone knows of a good open gaming location, perhaps we could run a sign up like the guys did at Gencon?

I'd like to play, but will run a game or two if desired. I've always been turned off by how little gaming seems to occur at DragonCon. (If you are not in RPGA)

I'll be there, though I agree that gaming just isn't the focus at DragonCon, as it is at GenCon. The people watching by the escalators is top-rate, however.

I wonder if Christopher Judge and Corin Nemec have heard of the Stargate SG-1 RPG?
