Personally, I recommend Chronicles, then Legends, then you find another series and never pick up anything else with the word "Dragonlance" on it. But I seem to be in the minority on that.

(Then again, I'm not even that fond of the first two trilogies, so YMMV wildly.)

Though I am quite fond of the first two trilogies, I couldn't agree more with you on stopping right around there. The Soulforge was a good read, and Dragons of Summer Flame was, too, even though all of the new characters were annoying as excrement.

heh. you guys do a disservice to the other 100 or so fun books in the series. Sure, there are about two hundred of em, but they can't all be winners =)

I really recommend anything written by Chris Pierson, or by the pair of Paul Thompson and Tonya Cook. they write great DL.
