Is the shadowstaff (the exotic weapon used by the shadowpeople) on the Dragonlance DM Screen? And, if so, what size weapon is it and how much does it weigh?

The actual interior of the DM Screen itself doesn't have anything about weapons (or armor or items, for that matter) at all. The booklet that comes with it does have a small section about weapons, but the shadowstaff isn't mentioned.

Incidentally, I haven't heard of this weapon, or the shadowpeople. Are they from the Beastiary of Krynn?

They're from the DL Campaign Setting book, in the monsters section. There is a little sidebar that explains much about the weapon, but no stat block to lay it all out clearly.
