(DragonLance) Dwarven Nations Trilogy

How is this series? Dwarves are my favorite race, and after spending the equivalent of an arm and a leg on ebay for these three books, I'm about to get down and read 'em.

I'm slightly confused...you already spent a load of money to get the books, and now that you're about to read them, want our opinions on how good the books are?

Wouldn't it have made a lot more sense to ask us before you spent the money in the first place (in case the books turn out to be awful)???

I read them maybe 5-8 years ago and I remember them being good...but it's been awhile....and my taste in books has matured somewhat since then...but still...it's worth at least trying.
