I doubt they'll ever remake the James Bond movies explicitly - the sliding timeline continuity of the films and the idea that all of these guys are the same James Bond is part of their charm. (Also remaking some of those movies in the modern era would be ... well, they'd either require extensive re-writes or they wouldn't get made.  Might as well make a new movie instead so that the fans don't get angry about it).The other Casino Royales were the one with CIA agent Jimmy Bond in a made for tv movie in the 50s (actually an episode of Climax! but all of those episodes were basically mini-movies), and the comedy version from the 60s of which we shall not speak.  (I do love American agent Jimmy Bond tho - talk about missing the point of a character).</blockquote>
