Dragonlance novels humble bundle

Got notification about below bundle, I think is all the Weis and Hickman books up until the end of the Amber series, plus some others.

Interested in what other think of the value of it. I have the first two trilogies on audible, listening to Dragons of Winter Night currently, so not much value in those six for me, I do remember liking the Lost (?) Chronicles, but not such a fan of later books beyond the Second Generation as Krynn faces calamity and shake up after calamity.

I remember loving Weasel’s Luck as my favorite of the two dozen or so Dragonlance novels I read in the 80’s and 90’s.

Kaz the Minotaur was fine. Dragons of Summer Flame was pretty much the last I read though, no War of Souls stuff.

I'm probably not typical in that I tired to read the first trilogy in the beginning of the pandemic. I gave up because it was really not good. So for me it's a pass. I'm certain it's different with people who have nostalgia for it and who read it when they were 15 as opposed to in their 40s.

I just read Weasel's Luck over the summer, since it's one of three Dragonlance novels that inexplicably still exist in my small-town library (the others are Legends, Book One and... Three). I found it quite clever, and Weasel had a very strong voice that the author quite clearly relished writing (it helps that I'm not one of those readers who insists on a likeable protagonist).

Other than that, I have the most recent trilogy sitting at home, waiting for me to reread the O.G. Chronicles (since it's been 35 years or so). I was always more of a Realms guy, so my Dragonlance reading has been pretty limited. I recall reading and liking The Legend of Huma and Kaz the Minotaur, but that's about as far as Kid Me got back when these were in every Waldenbooks in America.

Looking at the Humble Bundle, almost all of these are out of print, so if, like me, you missed most of these first time, this is probably a pretty good deal, especially if you have no particular reverence solely for the Weisman/Hickman stuff.

I also remember not particularly caring for the preludes novels.

Even though I'd love to have the entire collection available, I am absolutely certain I would never get around to reading all of them just as matter of available time, nevermind whether or not I was still interested in it after rereading the original trilogy.

I read it age 14/ 15 in 1993. Bought a trilogy book. Terrible rereading now.
