Dragons as Paladin Mounts

I'm planning on creating a paladin and giving him a dragon mount per the rules in Defenders of the Faith. My question is this - what exactly do the hitdice affect? skills? Feats? Breath weapon? My assumption for the moment is that only saves, skill points, and feats are affected, but I want to know for sure.

BAB, Skills, Saves and Feats are all affected by an increase in HD.

It also effects Breath Weapon DC (10 + 1/2 HD + CON mod) and Frightful Presence DC (10 + 1/2 HD + CHA mod). Increases in these DCs can affect certain other thigns, such as a Black Dragon's Corrupt Water[/b] ability, which uses the Frightful Presence DC against Magical Potions & Holy Water.

They also gain an extra +1 Natural Armor bonus per additional HD (according to the ELH).

That's about all I can think of.
