Dragons in the Dungeons of D&D

This is part a trivia discussion, and part a way to sate my own curiosity on the subject. What are all the dragon encounters in official published D&D adventures? Going all the way back to the first published modules.

Note: I'm talking about "official" published adventures -- that is, TSR and WotC stuff. Including all the third-party materials would just get cluttered quickly.

Off the top of my head (not at home, IDHMBIFOM, all that):

Well, there's a dragon in RttToEE (maybe several?).

Then S4 has the "wilderness random dragon" goin' on.

The DragonLance stuff is overflowing with dragons more than Skyrim, and that's saying something.

Umm, I recall dragons in Thunderspire Labyrinth, Pyramid of Shadows, King of the Trollhaunt Warrens, Demon Queen's Enclave... don't know about the E modules, I haven't run any of them or re-read them in well over a year.

Return to the Tomb of Horrors (2e) has at least one (the brine dragon!).

DarkSun, of course, includes THE Dragon.

I recall one in G2, but wouldn't swear whether any are in G1 or G3, the D series or Q1.

I don't think L1 or L2 had any dragons in 'em, nor did T1, but I'm pretty sure T1-4 had a couple in the nodes.

It does seem kind of strange that there do not seem to be many truly famous dragons outside of DragonLance.

Don't know if it fits, but in 2nd Ed, there's also Dragon Mountain.

Off the top of my head, there's a 7HD red dragon in B5. There was a lair of two white dragons inG2 and an ancient red in G3. There was a green dragon lair in X1 on the isle of dread I think.

One interesting example of a dragon encounter is the suggested adventure in the 1e Greyhawk box set involving a possessed copper dragon. Most dragons in published adventures I recall weren't all that central to the plot but that was an interesting idea.

It does seem kind of strange that there do not seem to be many truly famous dragons outside of DragonLance.

From what I read of the "creation diary" for DragonLance, that was one of its goals - up until then, dragons were very rare in D&D adventures.
