Hmm. It would be useful to have a Challenge Rating System in Space Combats. (Something that already striked me with D20 Starwars - A 20th level character in a TIE FIghter fighting a Generic Imperial Class Star Destroyer - they don`t want me to base the CR of the Crew Quality, do they?)

(In our group we are thinking of an alternative space combat system, that would just "transform" the standard combat rules in space - including the monsters. So you could have an adult black dragon starship, a goblin starfighter and so on... but there are many difficulties to translate everything.. At least to me...)

In terms of adventurers, I'd love to see some thing along the lines of Dark Space by Monte Cook for the old Rolemaster system. It had dark eldrich creatures, space, science fiction, fantasy, undead, and all sorts of other goodies that just scream create campaign based on this! Otherwise, something like Babylon 5 where an ancient darkness is rising. Of course, now that CoC has d20 stats to it...

A book of vignittes might be interesting too. SOmething that pits the players are pirateers with the characters hunting down progressively tougher foes until they fight the master mind.
