Sasaki (21) nearly 300 ft. away soars through the trees after discarding his boomstick and drawing his katana, he soon comes within sight of the mercenaries and their commander in time to hear the dark elf?s words. Kaalek (20) runs crouching to take cover behind a nearby tree. While Quarrop drifts low to the ground and moves to retrieve the closest boomstick, which is several hundred feet away backing in the clearing. Banwyl (19) tumbles into the path of the oncoming soldiers coming to a stop on his knees he takes aim, fires, and misses. [Atk roll 10 +8 range +1 point-blank -4 (non-proficiency) = 15 A Miss.] Mossaka (19) is over 500 ft. away flies towards the sounds of combat but cannot yet see his friends except for Sasaki flying in from the opposite direction. Dark Elf (12) shoots at Banwyl, which flies harmlessly past his tumbling form. Horatio (11) drops to the ground as a familiar shape of a crossbow takes shape in his hands. Tenos (11) charges from his hiding spot towards the human mercenaries moving 60ft towards them, which brings him very close. Human (10) each man drops to a knee pick a target and fires. Two shot go wide around Tenos but a third burrows through his chest killing him instantly (Critical Hit). Tenos?s body dissolves from sight just like the squid-bears. Don't worry Vargo you?re not actually dead Three shots fly at Banwyl but only one strikes his should burning a neat hole completely through him. (10 Dmg) Initiative: Sasaki 21; Kaalek 20; Banwyl 19; Mossaka 19;Dark Elf 12; Horatio 11; Tenos 11; Men 10.
