OOC: Sorry I'm late. Sasaki (21) Charges the nearest Human soldier swooping down from above, slicing into the man and wounding him grievously. [Atk roll 17 +7 katana +2 charging = 26 A Hit. 14 dmg.] Kaalek (20) waits impatiently behind his tree while Quarrop drifts closer to the boomstick in the clearing. Banwyl (19) rolls into a new position behind a fallen log before taking another shot and the kneeling mercenaries, striking a human a glancing blow. [Atk roll 17 +8 range +1 point-blank ?4 (non-proficiency) = 22 A Hit. 9 Dmg.] Mossaka (19) the mighty soon finds himself in the trees above his companions caught in the firefight, flaming bolts whizzing about indiscriminately. Dark Elf (12) shoots Banwyl oncoming form striking him. (6 Dmg to Banwyl) Horatio (11) aims and fires from his prone position his crossbow quarrel soaring wide. [Atk roll 3 +5 range = 8 A Miss.] Tenos (11) Down and gone Human (10) Each trooper fire again. Two shot go wide around a swooping Saskai but a third strikes, killing him. Sasaki?s body dissolves from sight. Again Sasaki you?re not actually dead Three shots are fired at Banwyl two miss but a third blast goes straight for his head. Banwyl closes his eyes knowing his death approaches when the entire world around him jerks and dissolves away? All of you find yourself once again floating in naked in vats of viscous green fluid. Outside your glass prisons the lab is unchanged for the most part. A warring klaxon is blaring and red lights are blinking around the room. Two of the pale skinned creatures are bent, their heads touching, and their backs are to you all. Looking around the people you now know from the dream world float nearby. Each of you feels strange invigorated and alert, like having just woken up from a restful nights sleep. Crash! Bang! Boom! Suddenly the entire room shakes tiny sparks and explosions appear around the room. A large beam from over head crashing down striking Mossaka?s glass wall cracking it and cause the green fluid to spray out. As the shake of the room stops you can see other beams had come down. One has fallen where the pale ones once stood. A third beam has struck a box that had glowed with lights and symbols but now sparks and flares fitfully. Suddenly the glass walls retract along with the tubes connected to your bodies painfully extract themselves. The green fluid floods out and washes over the floor. Each of you, excepting Mossaka whose glass walls refuse to move being pined by the beam, now find yourselves naked but free within the alien lab.
