[Dragonstar] Galactic Races Question

I was looking at Galactic Races today and I have a question concerning
the Ulb.
The race has Ooze Traits, one of these abilities makes them immune to
Criticals. The race also has Piercing Susceptibility which means they
suffer a +1 to the critical range when attacked by a piercing weapon.
Which is it? Are they immune to criticals or not? Are they immune to
criticals that aren't piercing?

I would read that as being immune to 'most' criticals, with the exception being criticals from a Piercing weapon, which they are even more susceptible to.

Boy, that's kinda daft.

By the RAW, they are extra-likely to get piercing crits which they are then immune to. Like all crits.

Maybe there's something weird in 3.0 like 'susceptibility overrides immunity,' but I'd chalk it up to simple error.
