Oh hotness.
Full integration of psionics is only one part, a post-apocalyptic but advanced world, a fresh look at races and culture, a focus on conspiracies and backstabbing politics and an alien species as a looming threat. To me, these things distinguish Third Dawn from others. Its a little of Dark Sun with a little of Eberron and a big dash of "our own" ideas.
The races are written so as to be compatible with the Pathfinder system and we are still awaiting a response from Paizo regarding licensing and releasing a Pathfinder Psionics book.
Is there going to be a print or POD version of the campaign setting?
I definitely support this idea. I think such products help potential buyers ferret out more details that make or break interest in the product, and more is always good..........a small, introductory, free preview-type product to introduce to Third Dawn without giving away too much.![]()
Count me in as someone who wants a print version. We're currently working to get a back cover done by the same gentleman who did the front cover layout (Erik Nowak).
Once that's done, a POD version is possible through Lulu.com, although due to sales of our print books, is not high on our priority list.
I know I want a printed copy for my own library (I have a printed version of every edition of a book we've printed).
Brilliant idea. Good to hear that freaking Cafe Press has some competition. Evil gits.Additionally, we are looking at releasing our books via Print-on-Demand through Amazons CreateSpace service, which would allow you to buy our books via Amazon and gain all the benefits of their shipping benefits, for example.
This is however not 100% definite yet.
