Dreamwalker (psion paragon path) and opportunity attacks

The dreamwalker paragon path from PHB3 lets you conjure a dream form, and you can see and hear through it, and can use powers as if in its space. My thri-kreen just got eaten by the party's cannibal halfling, so as I work on my new character, I'm considering an fighter who multiclasses into psion to take dreamwalker, and wondering whether I'd be able to make opportunity attacks or use combat challenge through my dream form.

The key question is whether an enemy triggers an OA by leaving a space adjacent to my dream form, if I can use powers as if I'm in the dream form's space. Clearly I can make basic attacks through the dream form, but can I trigger free, opportunity, and immediate actions only from my real space?

(Also, I was considering ardent/dreamwalker, because ardents have a handful of 'swap locations with an ally' teleport powers, and it amuses me that I could swap positions with someone 15 squares away by using those powers through my dream form.)

That is an -excellent- question.

In the case of Opportunity Attack: Opportunity Attack is, as of latest printing, a power. So therefore, yes, you can trigger opportunity attacks from enemies moving adjacent to the conjuration. This works because the conjuration is not specific about what aspects of the power treat the creature as adjacent to you. It doesn't merely state 'range' or 'attack type' but it is a blanket statement that implies to the entirety of the power.

Combat Challenge does not work this way, however. It is not a power currently. (This will likely change in the future when the Class Compendium is released.)

So to answer your main question: If the free, immediate, or opportunity action is the result of a power, then yes, it will work fine from your conjuration. If the free, immediate, or opportunity action is the result of a feature that is not a power, then it will not.
