Drive

I particularly enjoy seeing the actor of the Bounty Hunter in the final Firefly episode again (but what's his name - the Internet knows),

Richard Brooks as Jubal Early. "I don't think of myself as a lion. You might as well, though. I have a mighty roar."

I am actually into Drive, which is pretty hard for me to do in the post-LOST post-HEROES days. But I like it. But everytime I see Nathan Fillion on screen, I just see Captian Malcolm Reynolds, which is a good thing actually :)

I knew this would happen. I didn't want it to, but I knew it would.

I almost avoided watching the show for that reason.

At least it didn't last long enough for me to really get into the characters like with Firefly. Right now I'm just disappointed to not know how it would have ended, rather than feel like I was kicked in the stomach because I would no longer get to see an show I was really into.

Nathan Fillion was my only interest on that show. I watched it for the first time on Monday and everyone else seemed bland, cliche, or just plain annoying.

It's a shame because the concept is interesting, there was lots of potential for great action, and there just hasn't been a good "cool cars drive fast" show in a while. Seemed to me dropping this one in mid-season was setting it up to fail, but right from the first few minutes of the show I thought Fillion should've been the focus rather than one of several ensemble members who didn't add much to begin with. I didn't need or necessarily want "Lost in cars."
