drought and disease weapon name

Voadam

Legend
I'm looking for a good name for an evil dagger that spreads a demonic disease and brings drought but which is actually the bound form for a salt demon (from Bation's Complete Minions) lieutenant of a demon lord.

The game world has an "olde tongue" that the name would be in so I'm looking for something that would have that kind of a feel as well as a translation for it.

Thanks

Galar - Irish word for disease

Morbus - Latin word for disease

So, how about Morbu'Galar?

(I put in an apostrophe to make it all cool and magic-like. Keen, huh?)

It generally does the trick, but you need to have the letters on each side of the apostrophe be consenents that are unpronouncable together, so hapless readers are left guessing what vowel sound to put between them.

What is latin for drought or dry? How about illness or sickness?

Pseudo latin will work well for olde tongue since it is currently only used in old records and some church services in the campaign so I will probably combine and slightly modify two words from latin.

Naclifalx.

Falx falcis (Latin) = hook or sickle

NaCl = chemical formula for salt

Stick an apostrophe in there if you need it. :)
