I've recently noticed that the link in my sig to my products page on dtrpg now seems to point to the dtrpg mainpage, instead of my product page. After a little experimentation I realised that this is because enworld stick &affiliate_id=31188 at the end of the link. The exact same link here (in my sig) points to my products page.
I also went and checked out another dtrpg link in someone elses sig, here at enworld, and it also defaults to the dtrpg homepage.
I was just wondering whether there was anything that could be done about this, or whether I need to take it up with dtrpg? Please don't misunderstand me - this isn't a moan or gripe. I am very happy for enworld to get all they can from people using the link in my sig, etc, since anyone using that link is doing so through enworld. So this isn't a request to drop it or anything. It's just that, as it is, there isn't that much point in having that link in my sig, which doesn't serve either of us.
On a related note, I was just wondering how this would affect banner-ads here at enworld? I mean, if I were to take out advertising space that pointed to my product area (or a particular product) on dtrpg, would the aforementioned problem also affect this?
