Duel whip disarm trip build help. (discussion)

So I currently working on a character concept that wields 2 whips and focuses on disarm and trip special attacks, basically focused on running in and setting up the battle field for the high damage dealers. I was thinking about focusing into RP related prestige class or a prestige class thats whip focused (if there is one) otherwise I'm leaning towards fortune's friend.
So I'm wondering if someones got a good thought or can expand on this concept? all 3.x resources are fair game

Race; human
Equipment; 2 dagger-whips, chain shirt
lv.1 bard 1/fighter 0 feats; combat expertise, two-weapon fighting
lv.2 bard 1/fighter 1 bonus feat; Improved trip
lv.3 bard 1/fighter 2 feat; Improved disarm
lv.4 bard 2/fighter 2 Bonus feat; Weapon focus (dagger-whip)
lv.5 bard 2/fighter 3
lv.6 bard 2/fighter 4 Bonus feat; Point blank shot
lv.7
lv.8
lv.9 feat leadership

you're right, Ghalleon, that is how it works. If i were you, i'd make sure the character has tumble maxed out to get away from those pesky jerks who love to be right next to you. Look into making those whip-daggers mighty too, it'll net your str bonus to damage. I might also take Jotunbrud at first level for an additional +4 to tripping (not sure about the disarm. might be the other way around), and definitely look into getting the magic item that doubles your reach for a round. that would be utterly hilarious. Tripping the guy after disarming him across half the arena floor? priceless.

I believe it's called Greatreach bracers ... they're in the MIC, and are bracers, that much I am 100% on. My cohort has them, uses them to great effect with his spiked chain.
