Hi folks,

I don't get a huge opportunity to play RPG's these days since I've got 2 little ones running around the place, but I may try to get in a game of D&D 3.5 some time during the weekend. Since I live in Pleasanton (only 10 minutes away) it makes it easy for me to get there. I may even try one of the all-nighters!! That is, assuming, my wife doesn't mind having a walking zombie around the house the next day. LOL.

Dundracon game durations

Good question was placed to me today by Coyote6 - 'how often do the games listed as 8 hrs run that long? Over or under that time?'.

It has been my experience that most games will run their full scheduled duration, and more if the people for the next game do not show up right away.

Games that hit the 6 and 8 hour marks usually schedule a "get up and stretch break" of 10-20 minutes and a meal break for 30-60 minutes. I have seen the people running the games arrange this at the outset because it provides them some downtime, as well. So although it says 6 or 8 hours, it is less time gaming.
