Okay, so the new issue of Dungeon shipped Tuesday to subscribers....
Come on, people! I want details!
How's the new Adventure Path adventure look?

That's September's issue. Considering that I just got August's, and it's still July, I wouldn't hold my breath on #126.

My subscription info says my copy of issue #126 shipped 7/19. I haven't seen it yet.

I tried calling Paizo customer service last night to find out how long it generally takes from shipping to delivery -- since I haven't seen anyone else saying they got their copy yet, I'm not too worried about mine yet. But I did recently move, so I am a tad concerned -- to gauge when I should be looking for my copy in the mail. I wasn't exactly ticked off yet, just curious.

Anyway, I got a recording that said to "throw your hands in the air and wave them like you just don't care."

That would have been a funny message about 5 years ago, but when I call to find out where my magazine is, I want to get some help, not listen to a questionably cute message. When I heard the beep and hung up, I was ticked off.

Atom Crash,

Customer Service is important to us! I am sorry that you didn't get to speak to a person when you called. If you send me your name and address via email (keith@paizo.com), I'll have an answer for you regarding your subscription--though normally it takes anywhere from between 7 and 14 business days for subscriber copies to reach people, depending upon their local mail service.

Our normal customer service phone hours are 9-5 P.S.T. If you are in another part of the country, you may have called after 5 pm on the West Coat or our customer service folks may have been busy helping other people.

Anyway, send me your info and I'll check on your subscription to confirm that we shipped out your issue.

I usually get my subscription issue about the second Saturday after it ships. So that means I should receive it this Saturday the 30th.

Peace and smiles :)

re

I usually see my issue well after its already out in stores, even though Paizo ships subscriber copies first. I think its like that for just about any magazine subscription.

I was almost tempted to just make up stuff about the new issue...

Thanks for the response, Keith. This:

...though normally it takes anywhere from between 7 and 14 business days for subscriber copies to reach people, depending upon their local mail service.

is really the answer I was looking for. The Paizo web site says my issue shipped on 7/19 and I trust you guys that it did. (I posted in another thread that I haven't had a problem with my subscription in the past 3 years; why did I have to tempt fate like that?)

Anyway, send me your info and I'll check on your subscription to confirm that we shipped out your issue.

If I don't see it by the end of the week, I'll email you. Otherwise, I will assume it's on the way. Generally when I see a thread here that someone else got their copy of the latest issue, I wait two days and then get my copy in the mail.

I work 8:30-5:30 CST so I couldn't call until later. I probably called a little after 7 pm my time (5 PST). It's more my frustration that few companies have CS people to answer a phone when I call than my frustration specifically with Paizo. When I call the phone company, I get an automated service, and that makes me unhappy. Sorry if it seemed I was dumping on you guys.

But seriously, maybe consider changing that message. :)

Ah, the monthly "who's got the Dungeon" thread.

I usually don't get mine until 3 or so days after it's newsstand date (but I live just across the border).

I'm looking forward to this issue - I can't wait to see the Waterdeep (read: Dungeon of the Crypt) adventure - I've been waiting more than 10 years to see that dungeon. I sure hope some thought was put into it (and especially the map).

Eric's Vanrakdoom Undermountain sublevel was tremendously disappointing (ripping off a Map-of-the-Week to use instead of giving us something unique)...
