BARGLE!

Seriously - that was back in the Red Box days when I was young enough that I didn't think villains could be anybody BUT Bargle. Whoo boy

Er, I have mine now(as of yesterday, in fact). What do you guys want to know?

Here's a quick rundown on what in there:

Three adventures, one is a Forgotten Realms lowish level one, the mid level one is an Adventure Path (dunno which one) which has some really neat Underdark/cavern creatures and encounters, and a high level event based one (planar stuff). The crit threat is pretty interesting, though I don't recall much about it at this point (was a spellcaster with a pretty interesting background).

The thing I most like from this one is probably stuff from the Adventure Path, particularly the white insect thing with the squiddy head. I'll definitely be using it soon (the shock value will be priceless, as the illustration is rather creepy looking and a pretty good deviation from "standard" fare monsters).

Can you tell us what the new monsters are?

Can you skip ahead to the Creature Feature of the issue and tell us what creature is presented? Thanks. :D

Frank,

Who did the artwork for Sharlocke in the planar adventure? And assuming it remained in there, what CR do they peg the revised 3.5 arcanaloth at?

I'm really keen to see the final version of that adventure, and what stayed or got shifted around any. Chris Wissel did a really nice job on the manuscript I had a chance to look over.

Edit: I did not write this adventure. Chris Wissel did. I just did some consultation during the editing process. Just to be clear.

Oh you wrote the planar one!? Nice! I can't wait to check it out. And there's a revised Arcanaloth! Thank you! Finally! Woo hoo! :D

Woah woah woah, let's assign credit for that adventure correctly. -I did not write it-. Chris Wissel was the author, so any happiness by you guys should be directed towards him, but James had me look over the draft and give any suggestions, comments, with regards to the planar lore and any more overtly Planescape etc tieins that might be relevant to consider. I had some input in the editing process, but I did not write the module. Let's be clear on that.

There were 'loths involved in the adventure, and I got asked for some input.

I have a handful of queries sitting as render fodder with Dungeon, but that's the most I've ever gotten. Don't give me too much credit here, especially when I haven't seen what, if any, of my suggestions or edits made it into the published piece.

Yeah if this is one of Shemmy's work, I'm 100% sure I'll like it. :)

Again, I didn't write the adventure, I just did some editing/influenced the editing process.
