Very interesting that the next issue has an adventure set in Sasserine!

Yeah, War of the Wielded sounds really cool. I'd love to run it as a side-quest in my Savage Tide game before the PCs leave Sasserine, but I doubt I'll get Dungeon #149 in time, unfortunately.

Alzrius, did you get your postal carrier a pair of winged boots for Christmas? You always seem to get your Dungeon long before I get mine and I'd like to know how you do it. ;)

Well, they were actually one-league boots. I was going to get him seven-league boots, but I couldn't afford them. ;)

Editorial: All Good Things, by James Jacobs - James talks about the end of Dungeon, giving the basics and where to go for more info, before listing the many things he's given to the magazine, what others have given, and what's to come, including stats for Arendagrost, Charon, Celeste, Orcus, Iggwilv, and more!

Definitely looking forward to these!

Who's Arendagrost and Celeste? The name Celeste I recognize in D&D, though it could've been the name of a random NPC from somewhere rather than the obviously important "Celeste" of D&D.

I actually stopped buying most Dungeons because of the Adventure Path, actually. Not that I didn't like them, but I ended up missing three of the issues from Shackled City (I really should order those while I still can), and I didn't want to feel like I had to keep getting them all. I'll definately be getting #149 and #150 though, along with the last issue of Dragon. Just to be clear though, the stats for Celeste are in one of those last two, right?

*six*

Doctor,

Yes, and in FC I and BovD. However while Rappan Athuk Reloaded did a nice job, I TRULY want to see a near epic level powerful Orcus. :p Just sue me.

Al,

Thanks! So Ahazu and Orcus huh...interesting.

Demi,

I saw it. However I figured there might be some mention of him in this adventure, Wells of Darkness, too. Turns out I was right! :D Thanks Al!

Celeste appeared in the Shackled City AP. I haven't read either of the AoW AP or the ST AP but I believe that she also appeared in one of these as well.

Olaf the Stout

Yeah... Celeste is the only NPC who appears in all three of the Dungeon adventure paths, but until Dungeon #149, she never got a stat block.

Arendagrost was first mentioned back in Dragon #290; he's associated with Saint Kargoth the death knight and some other Great Kingdom mayhem.

As for Orcus; he gets his stat block in #149 also (along with two cool pictures!). He's CR 32, for those who were wondering, which is where he fits according to the Demonomicon articles.

(Braces for the backlash that even at CR 32, some folk will want a tougher Orcus...)
