I am surprised they have 1st, 8th and 12th level adventures instead of three fairly low level adventures this early in the new edition.

I guess the mini-module they supplied in the DMG along with the other adventure modules they are putting out would be enough to cover things and instead use Dungeon to showcase 4e across the levels. Only reason we actually got a 1st level one is cause its the start of an AP.

Wonder how long before the Epic Tier shows up now in Dungeon?

That hobgoblin sure has a tiny head.

I expect we'll be seeing "How to plug in WotC's published adventure in FR/Eberron" and "Sidetrek for WotC's published Adventure" every month, since one is slated to come out what, every month?

With that thought in mind, and looking at Dragon, it occurs to me another reason why WotC wanted the Dungeon/Dragon license: Advertising. They can easily plug in parts of their upcoming books and call them Articles.

As to "High level adventures", people on the boards are all ready playing Paragon level adventures, so it doesn't surprise me. Some people here have been playing since before the Core came out.

I quite liked the official adapations of Keep on the Shadowfell for the FR and Eberron, so I don't mind seeing them in future issues.

Are they? How many are available now and what do they cover?

Right now there is H1: Keep on the Shadowfell module, Kobold Hall 1st level n DMG, and Treasure of Talon Pass 2nd level Free RPG day. Upcoming you got the FR1 module, 1st level AP in Dungeon, and H2 module out later.

I don't care about adapting the modules for published settings, but I do like the side quest articles. I'm going to start running the H series, and the side quests from the current Dungeon edition look like nice ways to extend the action.

I'm all about making them last longer.

Actually I am interested in the 4e adaption of "Last Breath of Ashenport" and the House of Pain. Curious about the Rescue in Riverwhatsit.

Has WotC made the Talon Pass adventure downloadable yet?
