Dungeon Delver and Blindsight

The Dungeon Delver PrC from Song and Silence gets Blindsight (20 foot range) as a 2nd level supernatural (I think) ability.

The class description mentions that it's activated as a Standard Action and has a duration of 10 minutes, but doesn't list how often it can be used - does anyone know if there is an errata or an FAQ on this? If it had unlimited uses per day, the time limit simply doesn't make sense, as there's nothing stopping the Dungeon Delver from "rebooting" it every 9 minutes, and the limitation would virtually never come into play.

Concerning the Dungeon Delver's Blindsight ability, does it specify what TYPE of Blindsight (echolocation, acute smell, etc.) it provides, or is that moot?
