[Dungeon] Issue 99 Question

pogre

Legend
I am delighted with the contents arrangement of the latest Dungeon. However, I am confused. I thought the format of the monthly was to be 60 pages of Dungeon 40 pages of Poly and then switching the next month. Further, I thought the Poly with 60 pages was supposed to be the one with the D20 game.

Issue #99 has 69 pages of Dungeons and a couple of nice adventures. The Poly side has 45 pages and a Mini game Hijinx. Did I miss something?

Oh wait - now I see it: the second adventure is a subscriber bonus.

That still does not explain why there is a D20 game in the "short" Poly. Or was this the short Dungeon issue? - I'm confused...

Thanks.

It's not going to balance out perfectly every time. The 60/40 split is what we aim for when we're putting together the magazine, but sometimes late ads or really long articles will upset the balance by a few pages here and there.

As you noted, the subscriber section considerably assisted the Dungeon page count.

It's important to note that ads and the covers count as "pages" for the purposes of the split.

Like I said above, sometimes the balance will be a little off, but we do our best to keep things on track.

Well for myself as a person in the UK and a big Dragon and Dungeon/Poly fan despite my annoyance at the only way to subscribe currently ending up with me having to pay for international shipping (why there is no distribution network for the Uk like thier used to be i don't know).

I was absolutely pleased to pieces when i opened the latest Dungeon/Poly my local hobby shop had gotten for me and saw some Star Wars pages in it... please keep them a regular feature.

Despite the shipping gripe I have, even before that getting SW Gamer and the like here was nigh on impossible.. so finally getting some Sw material in my favourites mags was awesome

Bravo!
