Dungeon Mag - Best "one shots?"

reveal

Adventurer
Our regular DM cannot game this weekend. So... I offered to DM a "one shot" for the rest of the group. The group will consist of 4 players and myself as DM.

My question is, what, IYHO, is the best "one shot" from any Dungeon Magazine? Or from anywhere, Internet adventures included? I want to make it as fun as possible for the group. :)

The Challenge of the Champions IV (incorrect titel, Im at uni, dont have the mag with me) in a recent issue was really good. My group had a lot of fun playing through that as a 1 shot.

Actually, my plan is to run them through that. :)

Probably not a good choice for your situation but I remember an old 2nd ed Dungeon adventure that was a dungeon that had a card from the deck of ending campaigns on each door. As I recall my character lost his soul.... which made life interesting for the intelligence sword that now controlled his body.

Dungeon of the Fire Opal

From Dungeon #84

A dungeon crawl suitable for a party of four, third level characters. Took us about 8 hours from start to finish, though the PCs died right at the end. Lots of challenging situations.

Deffinately not a deep adventure. If your group doesn't like dungeon crawls, you'll want to avoid this. If they do, even on occaision, they'll have a blast.

I have run this adventure twice for introducing people to DnD. It is a Dungeon Crawl, and I quite like it.

Hey, if you do run them through Challenge of Champions IV, let me know how it went--I love hearing how different teams fared in the contest!
