Dungeon Magazine Submissions

First Post
Well, I probably missed the answer lying someplace obvious, but I'll ask here because I know someone will know. Now that Dungeon is being published by Paizo, where do I send my submission? Specifically, I'm looking for an e-mail address if they're taking submissions that way.

Thanks

I'll post their mailing address this evening when I get home. A word of advice though, they usually ask new authors to make hard copy submissions by snail mail. Once they've developed a relationship with you they may start asking you for e-mail instead. I think this has to do with needed a signed copy of the standard submissions forms.

Thanks

Thanks for the info, Canada. I'm disappointed to hear that about e-mail submissions. Does anyone know if they require a full submission or if they prefer queries, still?

Actually, you can send email proposals to dungeon@paizopublishing.com. You can send a scanned version of the signed disclosure form, or you can take the electronic version and type your name into the signature box. Either way works for us. You can continue to use the Wizards of the Coast disclosure form for now; we'll have one of our own soon.

They require a query with several elements of the module outlined. If they like that they'll ask you to write the entire module and snail mail it to them.

Related Question...

This does remind me of a related question I've had. Do those that write for Dragon magazine recive free copies of the issue they were included in or just a pay check?

My experience is only with Pyramid magazine (back when it was in print, rather than online) but I recieved a paycheck and a copy of the magazine for the article I wrote for them.

I'll wager that if you ask, they'd be happy to send you a copy of the mag, if you don't have a sub.

E-mail didn't work

Hmmm... well, I just got a message that the e-mail I sent to that address was undeliverable. Apparently, my e-mail spent five days trying to send out, but failed. I guess I'll try it from another account, but, in the meantime, is there a snail mail addy I can send my proposal to?
