Dungeon/Polyhedron #92 in today!

I liked the Spelljammer stuff.

But the lack of deck plans brings my A+ down to a B-. I'll change my mind if there is a web enhancement.

OK, all this talk has gotten me really interested. I REALLY want a copy of this magazine. But I have no idea where to get one. Can it be ordered on-line? Bought in a store? Do I want Dungeon or Polyhedron (still a little confused about this, I thought I knew what Dungeon is, but I don't know what Polyhedron is or what it has to do with Dungeon).

Can somebody help me out with some advice?

There's a good reason for your confusion.

Polyhedron used to be a magazine, only for members of the RPGA.

Recently, it was 'merged' with Dungeon (kind of like Living Greyhawk Journal was merged with Dragon) to create a bigger bimonthly publication.

If you look somwhere you can buy Dragon magazine, you should be able to find this on as well. Each issue has two front covers - one for Dungeon, and if you flip the mag over, one for Polyhedron - and the store may have either or both showing, depending on how they stock their shelves.

Hope that helps!

Hey Erik,

I don't have my latest issue yet but I was told there was an error.

Ambient is listed in the mag as an imprint or partner of Monkey God.

Ambeint Inc is a imprint under Mystic Eye Games and not Monkey God.

Just wanted to clarify, thanks!

Oops. Right you are. All you companies that start with the letter M confuse me. :(

Sorry to all involved (or, as the case may be, _not_ involved).

WOOH-HOO!

I can be patient. Mostly I just forget about things until they're almost out. Works about the same though.

On an unrelated note, Erik have you been able to work out what ever problem that was preventing you from continuing the Gem of the Flanaess articles in LHJ?
What about getting Sean to continue the Enchiridion of the Fiend-Sage?

what about al-quadim?

There's a difference between these three. DM and GW require a lot of their own rules and thus are suited to the mini game format in poly. AQ on the other hand would just a D&D campaign setting a with a few additional and or variant rules and would work better as a special Dragon issue similar to the Shannara one a while back.

Just in case...

... you haven't gotten enough positive feedback...

Erik, the minigames are amazing: I cannot wait to see d20 Gamma World, and d20 Speed Racer, and d20 Voltron and whatever else you have up your sleeve.

Before anyone gets too excited, I'll point out that d20 Speed Racer was "surprisingly close" and that someone who wanted giant robots should "keep reading Polyhedron." So we may see something similar (how close is close, anyway?) but probably not those specific licensed settings.

But what do I know?

D20 Mecha Anime on it's way? Looks like it to me! Unspeakably cool.

[Now I can do the Call of Cthulhu Endtimes: mecha vs mythos campaign I've always wanted to run!!! In D20!!]
