[Dungeon] Simple question RE Adventure Path

Lazybones

Adventurer
Does anyone know when the next installment of the "Shackled City" Adventure Path is scheduled to be printed? With Paizo saying that Poly's being ditched and a new focus on more mods in the future coming, I have elected to resubscribe, but would prefer to wait so that the next Adventure Path mod is my first new issue. By my count, there's three of those left, correct?

When is Polyhedron's last issue?

Thanks in advance.

I think I remember Erik mentioning that issues 113-115 would have the last three episodes of Shackled City.

Yes, Erik had posted in a thread awhile back that 113-115 will finish up the Adventure Path. I, for one, am anxiously awaiting these adventures to see how the series will end. Then we can hopefully look forward to another adventure path that will be as good as the Shackled City one. :)

Here's the list:

113: Foundation of Flame by Chris Thomasson
114: Thirteen Cages by Chris Thomasson
115: Asylum (the finale!) by Christopher Perkins

Woot!

Now I can only hope for a compilation and update to 3.5 edition
for all of the adventures...

Thanks, looks like I'd best send in that new subscription order post-haste.

EDIT: done and done. Thanks and looking forward to another year of Dungeon with the changes Erik and others have been talking about.

Actually, all of the Adventure Path adventures were written using 3.5. The first one (at least) actually came out before the 3.5 PH, and was a good Rosetta Stone for upcoming changes.

That's not to say I wouldn't love a compilation, of course. :)

There were definitely 3.0/3.5 issues in the first couple of adventures. (I know, I've been compiling and updating the adventures for my own personal use). Maybe this was just people getting used to all of the new rules though. I know that every now and then I run across something that surprises me.

Some examples I remember are listed below...

In Life's Bazaar, the pulverizer automatons and raggomuffyns do not have the bonus hit dice for their construct subtype. People were already saying the Pulverizers were tough... How much tougher would they be with +20 hp?
:-) Though I don't understand how something that low level can have an extra 20 hp and not have an increased CR... But that's an issue for WotC...

I think there were also DR issues for some creatures. The skulvyn in Flood Season, if I remember right was an example of this.

There were some skill name differences... Sleight of Hand vs. Pickpocket.

Anyways, a compilation would be great. One thing that might be an interesting feature is a "Cauldron and Environs" section. Each adventure adds a new tidbit or two about the surrounding area and it's kind of interesting to pull it all out and have in its own section.

A softcover "Shackled City Campaign Book" with all of the content from the modules, would make a great supplement.

The one thing I wish Paizo had kept doing was release the maps on their Web site. The maps for the first two mods served as a useful reference tool.
