Dungeon subscriptions for European people?

I've had the same experiences Horacigon! Thanks again Erik for another helpful post! My only complaint is the 6 WEEK delays mentioned for European subscription and the huge difference in cost. I can deal with the cost to be honest, but 6 weeks just blows my mind...

You could also check the masthead on the editorial page (where all the people who work on the issue are listed). I just checked the only issue of Dungeon I have here but the was nothing for any where in Europe, Dragon however does have an email address and phone number for the UK, which you could try as well.

Also whenever you do get it don't forget to ask for the free copy of Legions of Hell (there's nothing in the ad that says Europe is excluded).

Six weeks? 6? Are you sure? That means it will arrive to the shop before than to subscritors homes? Are you sure, Will?

Please report how it went, if it is indeed possible to subscribe from Europe, I'd like to try as well. (Of course, given that I still have time left on my Polyhedron subscription, maybe I'll get Dungeon now?

/Jonas

And yes Jonas, you should get Dungeon until the subscription expires, then you need to buy a Dungeon subscription. I got my last issue of Dungeon/Polyhedron a month ago.

Yeah, but that is only what it says on the cards you get in Dragon etc. for a European subscription. I don't have one (because of this exact reason) so I couldn't say what the REAL LIFE time for it's arrival is. Maybe it's just a "disclaimer" in case it doesn't arrive on time, but it is one that has put me off subscribing for some time now. I would love a subscription to both magazines but not if it will arrive in stores first, like you mention. Maybe someone will post here that has a subscription in Europe to help us out :)

Let me get this strait, you can buy it in the store but you can't subscribe to it?
Could you ever subscribe to it in Europe?
Does it cost € (Euros) to by them over there?

You CANNOT buy anything from the WotC online store if you live in most of European contries. A bizarre taxes/rights/I-don't-know-what story (I have heard three versions of it).

It would be very helpful. Because I don't understand how the six weeks can be right. I mean, I'm subscribed to some US magazines (IEEE Spectrum, for example) and it takes two-three weeks, not 6...

Sweden?

Hi

Does anyone know if you can subscribe to dragon/dungeon in sweden. I'm mostly thinking about costs and things like that.

I'd like to know so thanks in advance...

Okay people, Im not sure why it takes so damn long for the subscription for Dragon and Dungeon to go through. It just does. Anyway, I now have obth magazines subscribed to, and am very happy. They will ship subscriptions out to Europe, but it costs a little extra. Try kay.palmer@tnsofres.com or call +44-18-58-41-4713 if you can stomach an internatiopnal phone call bill...

I subscribed to both Dragon and Dungeon magazine this year, mostly because the entire European continent gets about 15 copies in retail and I kept missing the good stuff...

You have to send your information to the UK-based firm that handles the subscriptions, but the prices for continental subs are *extremely* bloated. Over 200% of what people in the US pay, actually. These are from a few months ago, so should still be more or less accurate.

Dragon, 1 year: £50.88, €83.5, $72
Dungeon, 1 year: £30.95, €50.8, $43.7

The contact address is subscriptions@tnsofres.com

I've had no trouble with it so far, and they appear quite promptly (and consistently!), nowhere near 6 weeks late.
