Dungeon Survival Guide

It isn't a mirrorstone book. It's a D&D book.
It doesn't turn up on the mirrorstone page but does on the D&D page.

It is really feeble also. I like some of those "ology" books, this one fails compared to most i've seen.

OK, I got all three of these yesterday from Amazon.

My son really likes the Practical Guide to Monsters. He's only briefly flipped through the Survival Guide.

I took a look at all three, and all three look almost exactly the same. Monsters and Dragons are only like $13 though. Fortunately on Amazon I was able to get a bigger discount on the $20 Dungeon book, making them about even in price.

I've got the first two, and I'll be buying the third.

I'm using them to help my daughter (age 8) improve her reading - and getting her more and more interested in D&D and RPGs and fantasy in general, but this is just a side effect, honest.

Edit: :o sorry, got my daughters age wrong!

From Mat Smith's September and Beyond preview:

October: Dungeon Survival Guide

Last month, you got a look at the back cover text from this 64-page illustrated guide to dungeon adventuring. As I mentioned, this book is aimed at novice adventurers interested in the world of fantasy, wizards, knights, dragons, and monsters -- this is, for all intents and purposes, a companion to Practical Guide to Dragons and Practical Guide to Monsters. When you get a look inside, you'll understand a little more of what you can expect -- an almost nostalgic look at the history of D&D 's dungeons, with an entertaining spin for the curious and newly interested. Take a look at the Introduction.
Let's see, a marketing person from WoTC says the book is a companion to two previously published books in their Mirrorstone line.

Sure it was ultimately published as a D&D book, but I don't think that was the idea when it went into production.
