Dungeon Tiles Master Sets

Gorrath

First Post
I bought one of each set last week but had also ordered them online and received them even if I had cancelled the order.
So I was wondering if I should keep the 2nd sets or return them.

For those who bought those sets and made some dungeons with them, could you please tell if there is enough stuff in every box or if it could be worth it to keep 2 of each set.

Thanks

What do you define as enough stuff?

For our usually big scenes, I bought two right away. If you have a big enough table, I'd keep them to avoid having to shift tiles around as the party progresses.

Well, I'm not really doing anything super big but was wondering if there is enough duplicates of the most useful tiles or if you always end up saying "Damn, I wish there was more copies of that tile".

Well, there are a lot of Dungeon Tile products out there, so if you do not have the rest, I would keep the wilderness set as two of those is nice, and return the city and dungeon sets to get some different sets.

Personally I'd only keep one of each set, unless you have a compelling reason not to. Using the same tiles over again gets old. Instead I would look at the witchlight fens, the upcoming map pack, or look into older fantastic locations map packs or dungeon tiles sets.

I did a 12x4ft cavern tile map and still felt like I needed more pieces. Its like everything else. You always want more.

Depends on the game and campaign style. If you do a map the size of mine then you need a large table space that can remain for a long time and I recommend buying inexpensive plexiglass sheets to cover and protect the map also.
