Dungeons and Dragons III?

Its going to be called Dungeons and Dragons 3rd edtion. When the DVD of it comes out, they wil put in extra scenes and change some stuff around and call it Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 edtion. ;)

I wonder if WotC is ever going to release the material they had finished up for the Istar sourcebook. They pulled it once it was clear the first movie was a bombola, but the stuff they put on the Web site was pretty nice. I liked them statting up the quicksand rug trap.

Ironically, the sourcebook looked like it was a lot more coherent than the movie.

I'm assuming it's sitting there somewhere, in PDF form, perhaps even hard copies. It'd be nice for them to open up the vault, even if they only sold them to raise money for charity or something.

I doubt very much if that material will ever become available, even as a PDF download. I'd be really happy of they did, but I've created my own Izmer, for my homebrewed World of Kulan campaign setting.

And I think D&D 3 has already been greenlit, and production has started. At least, that's the rumor on the D&D Movies Yahoo Group. It likely won't have anything to do with the Temple of Elemental Evil, as they don't have the rights to that.

Interestingly enough, two of the people who helped with Wrath of the Dragon God are helping with the new Dragonlance Animated Movie -- John Frank Rosenblum and Cindi Rice. They are partners under the banner of Epic Level Entertainment.

Cheers!

I don't know about you but I'm glad Courtney does not have Greyhawk film right.

I hope someone more qualified picked that up.

Na he's just got the rights for D&D, with Greyhawk implied
(and Knightfall1972, unless they decided to change things, it is Temple of Elemental Evil, I havn't heard anything else)

But better still is the "Forgotten Realms" movie, ;)
