Dungeons & Dragons #2 out today!

I visited the Comic Warehouse today and I'm a new customer! Huge selection of comics, board games, and RPG's. I only wish I knew it was there years ago! They had D&D #2 and even had both cover versions.

I had previously been buying from Grey Region at Square One. I have no love for that place but it was the only store I knew of that had been carrying the D&D comics. Now I'm going to the Comic Warehouse!

I am having trouble finding somewhere to order these online, anyone know who sells all three? I only see #0 on Amazon. Only bookstore in town is Books a Million and they didn't have it when I checked yesterday.

Edit: Found them at mycomicshop.com

Anybody know what the difference is between the standard issues and the "module edition" variant? Besides the cover, if there is any. I think there was a "module edition" for both #1 and #2.

The module edition versions have the encounters fleshed out in delve format (ie. how one would see it written out in typical 4E modules), representing the combat encounters in the particular issue's story. It has monster stats, encounter guidelines, etc ...

If one is experienced with 4E, it's not hard to replicate the encounters in the comic book.

Is there a way to subscribe to these things? Or do they have to be hunted down and killed?

Edit: Just went to mycomicshop.com and I see they have a nice feature where they can email you when the next issue is out.

#2 is even more enjoyable than #1. The banter amps up ("Aces! Someone else to bug him about it!"), the NPCs feel like they have a history ("... Except that one time in the Black Forest"), and even the art is better (female tiefling with no shirt! :D ). The "module" pages could use more of the WotC trade dress (specially the stat blocks), but Khal's character sheet had no glitches like Adric's, as far as I can tell.

I'm having trouble sourcing it here. I'd rather a paper copy sent to me - I'm not trawling through comic shops looking for it. Anywhere to buy online that will ship cheaply to Ireland?

Having visit 51 comic and game shops in the Toronto area (Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, Toronto) this summer I can attest that Comic Warehouse is pretty awesome.

If depending on where you are in Mississauga you may also want to check Altered State -
1701 LAKESHORE RD West
Mississauga
905-855-1288

(they have a decent albeit small games section)

and Image Collection
181 Queen St South
Mississauga

more comics now, but again have some gaming - it was also very overcrowded when I was there. tTey said they were in the middle of re-organizing though. (note there a little hard to spot, beneath an IDA pharmacy)

Also, they definetly wouldn't have the comic, but X-planet Games just opened this summer
