Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition release date?

I voted '09, but I really have no idea. I don't care. I'm having too much fun playing 3.5 to care.

Naw you cant do that man, gaming police will be there the moment 4th ed drops. They might let you finish the combat or whatever, but then into the incinerator the books go!

Yeah it's pretty discriminatory .. only 4th ed gets love. Where's my 5th and 6th ed threads? Codename D&D Longhorn.

Maybe the "repeating numerical pattern" of X years between editions is the sales drop-off period!

Note that no distinct pattern exists at this time, nor can an accurate one be predicted based on subjective (and assumed) qualities such as the possible commercial appeal of a product that has not yet been published. This really is a poll with little merit, as Mr. Hague points out.
