Maybe, but they just did a "high level adventure" and I wouldn't think they would follow up immediately with another.I was thinking a sequel to Tomb of Annihilation, 10-15.

Sometime you just have to go with whatever is ready. But I would suspect something in the order of 7-11.Maybe, but they just did a "high level adventure" and I wouldn't think they would follow up immediately with another.
How high does the current starter set go? Maybe it is a follow up for that?Sometime you just have to go with whatever is ready. But I would suspect something in the order of 7-11.

I wonder if they have survey or Beyond use data that given them insight into where folks are primarily playing their 2024 campaigns, level wise. By that I mean, I wonder ifo whatever the level range ends up being will be targeted and intentional.Three.
And really, in terms of style and setting, it's not exactly an natural lead in to a Red Wizard adventure!

I can run a 3rd level.adventure in the Abyss. There's no inherent connection between setting and level. And "high magic" doesn't indicate power -- it indicates ubiquity. This the Arcane Empires Region mentioned in Heroes of Faerun, specifically Thay, set during a Wizards War. This one of the most high magic regions in Faerun filled high level monsters like Liches, summoned fiends (including a Demon Lord), and bordered on most sides by magic powerful nations, like fellow Arcane Empires Aglarond, Rasheman, and lead by actual Gods Mulhorand to the south. No way this is a low level adventure.
The disappointing Vecna adventure was like what 2 years ago?
For me the question is which Wizards are the Wizards of Thay at war with? Is it a civil war? Is their Domain of Dread kin the Red Wizards of Hazlan? Is it really a war with Aglaround & Rashemen? Far off Halruaa? Wizards from another world? A new faction of Wizards in Thay? The Brotherhood of the Griffin?
I would love to see a Lost Mine of Phandelver-style adventure set in and around an Outlands gate town, personally. At low levels, everyone is dangerous to PCs, whether they're a local bandit lord or a demon prince.I can run a 3rd level.adventure in the Abyss. There's no inherent connection between setting and level.

I don't think it will be low level. I think it will be Tier 2 because it's purported length suggests a single Tier, we just had a high level campaign adventure, and Tier 2 is by far the most popular and playable Tier. Why do you think it will be low level?
