Heh, I purposely didn't say because I know I'll get razzed. I believe it was between $90 and $100. Considering I couldn't get it anywhere else (and still pretty much cannot) and it is one of the vital components in regaining my childhood, I thought it a fair price. As I said, the set (of 7 discs) is neatly packaged and the eps are almost all great quality.

I saw that a local comic shop was selling a bootleg 7(?) disc set for about the same amount. I wonder if the same guy burned a set for whatever stores would take them in and is also selling them via ebay.

How many episodes are there total, actually? Are they divided on your bootleg set with seven per disc, too (like the UK release)?

Hey Mark. There's 27 episodes with 4 on most of the discs (a couple have either 3 or 5). It's well worth the effort to find this bootleg set. And, as luck would have it for those interested, it just showed up on this mailing list:
