There is a 9th level spell Duplicate that allows a character essentially another them, that has the same equipment and spell abilities as the original.
I have questions about 3.x game mechanics. The spell says clearly that the original and the duplicate share the same mind, but in all other ways, can act independently.
I have two questions:
1) Can you share a mind in a different plane of existence? In other words, are ther precedents for this in other spells that allow mental contact?
2) If a mental effect such as Domination were to occur on one subject, would the other (original or duplicate) be controlled as well?
While this is a specific spell in Arcana Evolved, I'm interested how this spell might be interpreted using 3.5 rules.
Thanks,
Aluvial
