Duplicate Thread Notification Emails

I will occasionally get two emails for the same thread. Am I doing something wrong, or is this abnormal behavior for the forum software?

It's a bug. But it's better than getting no messages at all, like was happening from the start of April until the server crash. I missed my thread notifications.

Funny thing is, the ones that get 3 or 4 emails sent out (at least in my case) seem to have an unnatural tendency to be those short, annoying posts that I really hate seeing people write in a place like this. What's up with that?

Huh, it was during April until the crash that I was seeing multiple notifications more frequently, although they started earlier this year. This past week I've noticed that I have not received some notification e-mails.

Any chance this is related to the corruption in the database that led to the crash, and that this happening still (or again) is an indication that there might still be a problem?

It's a bug in vBulletin that I've not yet been able to figure out - it sends publishers multiple sale notifications, and is the reason we stopped sending newsletters for the GameStore.
