Die foul living things die!! Here is one of the most potent of black magic spells.
Perish
Necromancy [Death]
Level: Black 9
Components: V, S, XP, Sacrifice: Con
Casting Time: One Action
Range: Personal
Effect: See Text
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: See Text
Spell Resistance: Yes.
For what do I suffer? To what end are my tears? As none there are for me, so for none shall there be my mercy." - Sirrom the Necromancer.
At the casting of this spell you loose a chosen amount of constitutions and 250 XP per point of con so lost beyond the first 5. All living things (even the grass and trees - everything) with hit dice equal or less than your con loss within 10 feet per con point lost of you when this spell is cast are slain utterly. Creatures with 10 or more hit dice make a fortitude save to negate. Creatures with 20 or more hit dice make a fortitude saving throw and on a failed saving throw take 50d6 points of damage (if they make the save they negate the spell).
For an example, if you chose to lose 10 constitution points, the spell would affect a 100' radius from the point you stand and slay everything with less than 10 hit dice. The 10 HD creatures would make saving throws and the 11 hit die or more creatures would be unaffected. You would lose 1250 XP on this casting.
Sacrifice Component: The amount of constitution you chose to lose. It returns at a rate of 1 point per day and cannot be magically restored.
