[DVD] Dagon

So for those who don't know H P Lovecraft (please don't hate me), would you recommend the movie? I saw it at the video store and it looked intriguing. Is it scary? What can you tell me about it without ruining anything?

If you like B-level horror flicks, Dagon is worth a rental. The movie follows a fairly common horror plot: innocent people find themselves trapped in a remote location filled with bad people or things.

Dagon had good atmosphere early on but after the old man lost face, it went from an indi flick to a Indy flick . The working in of the ending quote of Shadow over insmouth was nice though.
