"Superbit" is just a fancy way of saying that the video & audio are encoded at a higher bitrate for better quality on the disc. That gives them a superior image & sound to most DVDs, but there's virtually no room left on the disc for extras.

So, yes, they will play just like a normal DVD. They often have higher quality audio tracks available, but otherwise are just normal DVDs with sharper image quality.
