Dwarven Cutlass (3D modelling)

Long thought the prime weapon for dwarves would really be the cutlass!
Stout weapon not likely to break from heavy use dwarves put things to.
Heavy cut n' thrust blade, giving you some reach, also useful as it can cut vegetation etc you wouldn't use a fine blade for.
Hand guard = good thing to punch enemies in the coupon with
Good cleaving blade to chop enemies up, make it heavier than most cutlasses to fit with dwarf physiology.


So I built this in Rhino
(this isn't commercial by the way, will probably give it away as a freebie)

Rebuilt it, lol, I'm a silly perfectionist

rendered one version with adamantine blade and a "fire rune"...Flametongue sword

I'm digging the fire rune. The adamantine blade looks good, too. I'm not so sure about the guard. I like the connections, but something about it just doesn't do it for me. I'm not sure what it is. Overall, though, very nice work.

maybe just blend the hexagons of the guard together with no brs/jewels between them?
did that because of issues connecting/texturing them
may need to redo that bit
