Dwarven Scalped?

Dwarven Forge is beautiful gaming terrain. Fantastic. On the website, the news item for Sunday 03 says that the game tiles will be in stock at noon, November 12th. It is currently past local noon (and is past noon for most of the world), and I see that the game tiles are out of stock.

Checking on EBay.com, I see sixteen listings for Dwarven Forge Game Tiles, all of them using a small selection of stock pictures.

Call me paranoid, but...

Scalping: Buying all items from a vender, in order to sell them for a higher price to people who would normally buy the items from that vender.

Note: I did not see a forum that seemed appropriate; "Geek Talk and Media Lounge" came close, but is not for tabletop gaming. If this is not the correct forum, I apologize and, if you are a moderator, please move the thread.

PS: Dwarven Forge is a type of 3D dungeon-building tile. It is very expensive, and would be attractive for scalpers, IMO.

PSS: I should clarify that I am seeking clarification on whether "aggressive reselling" is taking place.

The new stuff was funded via a Kisckstarter - and teh backers have received their materials ahead of retail release. They got a good deal and bonus/extra items as strtech goals and I imagine a few of them were out and out resellers or planning to resell some of their purchases to fund the ones they kept for persoanl use.

I considered that explanation, but it does not explain why the game tiles would be out of stock on the day of their release.

Update: The products are no longer listed for sale on the Dwarven Forge website. I have no interpretation.

Update: I am unsure. Am I expecting too much by expecting a product this costly to not be a day late in store updates?

They (Dwarven Forge) said they were having troubles with the website. As of now (Wed evening) everything is up and listed for sale.
