trancejeremy, did you get Amazon Payments sorted out? We can take PayPal through the Autarch site but it makes it a little extra step to get you the info posted to backers as updates.

Last night was the first game James ran for backers - I was part of the first trial run as we worked the kinks out of G+ and it was really incredible to see his GMing style and revisit the dungeon I'd experienced as a PbP player in '09 and read about in session summaries at Grognardia. Another of the players from that PbP, Rob Conley, rejoined last night's expedition. That's his PC Argyll with the red hair in the painting Jeff Dee did for the Kickstarter:

One of the things I'm really excited about with this one is this kind of crossover between actual play and the art for the published dungeon. The Adept-level backer who played last night will be working with the session's illustrator-in-residence, Ryan Browning, to choose a scene from their character's adventure that'll be another of the pieces published in the book. Since so much of what made reading about Dwimmermount's development in James' home campaign exciting was seeing how it took shape in response to his players' input, it's awesome that we can carry that forward during this next stage of its development.

Now I have to get myself ready for tonight's session using Dwarven Forge layout like in the top-level backer reward! Come play if you're in travel distance of the Brooklyn Strategist any Saturday from 7-11, or Sunday 3/18 from 6-11.
