From the craftsmen who brought you Crimson Contracts, the Assassin's Manifesto comes a whole new book of spells.

Millenia of warfare has scarred and shaped the lands of Shtar. Wars against the Lich Kings, the Elves and even Gods themselves.

Wars where magic tore apart the land, and stitched it back together again.

Arcane Strife. The Magics of Shtar.

In this d20 supplement, you will discover nearly 200 new arcane spells, plus new feats, four prestige classes and four creature templates.

Perhaps you can rebuild the magics of your world...

It is a Brood Production, by the guys who did the killer Crimson Contracts, and thus isn't in my personal writing style (a la Gar'Udok).

Personally, I love a vast majority of these spells and am already incorporating them into my campaign.

These are spells of warfare. Killing, maiming and demoralizing magics. There are other spells in here too, but the feel is that of a world torn assunder by these arcane magics.

Needless to say, good villain material, but also strong magics for any arcanist looking for combat spells.

Yeah, the world of Shtar is absolutely messed up.
If you want to see the world that supports this magic (what we've translated over so far to 3E and computer) check out my site...

It's in the Shtar Section, and the history is in downloads, or Free Stuff, depending on whether or not Kerrick has updated the site again today.

The history is under the Shtar section, where it belongs. :p We also have a list of Shtar core classes, gods (all OGC), and tons of spells that were cut from the book.

"Spellbooks face some stiff competition due in part to the first two on the market being Relics & Rituals in print and the Book of Eldritch Might in PDF. When compared to these two icons of the d20 spellbook, Arcane Strife can stand proud."

oh yeah, and the supplement that fixes a couple of errors (and adds a bonus prestige class) is up too. Jake'll poke his head in later with details.
