[E-Tools] Release Info?

Hi all!

My local game store owner... local as in I have to drive an hour to get there, on a US highway... tells me that the latest info he has from Wotc says the release is either Friday (the latest info) or at Gen Con (the next to latest info).

Anyone else have rumors, I mean, dates they've heard of?

I can empathize with you about the lack of local game stores. There was a store in Warsaw back in the 80s for a couple of months but it did not last.

Of course now-a-days you can buy games from the web. In my day, you had to convince your folks to drive to the Fort...

TRUE STORY

I remember when going to Fort Wayne was a big deal because... they had a McDonalds when Warsaw didn't.

I don't remember the game store in the 80s, I was away at IU during that time.

Since my group has fallen apart, I may be driving to Fort Wayne to find another group of players. *sigh*

Don't blink! Seriously, you have to take 30 around the town and not drive through (friggin' stoplights, it's like Kokomo anymore). Isn't the Griffon in South Bend still open? I've not been up there in years and it would be closer.

The store I go to is "The Keep" on Parnell. Take Coliseum Blvd to Parnell. The store is on the east side of Parnell in a strip mall and is the furthest north store in the mall.

Jay is the owner/manager. He's a big bear of a guy and has always been pretty good to me.

You know, people are weird. Especially me. I've been waiting for this piece of software for over two years, wrote it off as vaporware over a year ago, and now I'm like, "What do you mean I have to wait three more %*&(@ weeks!!!"

I know exactly how you feel. At least it is coming out and it looks like it will be GenCon or after.

OK. So I've heard two dates now. August 5th and August 9th.

If E-Tools will be available at GenCon, doesn't that mean it will be available on August 8th, which is the first day of the con?

This is rather important to me since I'll be at GenCon on Thursday the 8th.

Help!!!!!
