E-Tools: Where is the patch?

E-Tools wholesaler price

The price your game store pays for E-tools: $24.50

Most products at my local store have a "break-even" of 40%.

Multiply $24.50 by 1.4 and you get $34.30. The Game Parlor is selling it at $34.95 plus tax. They're making $.65 a copy above the break-even point.

At the SVGames price of 29.95, SVGames is making $4.45 a copy. SVGames, however, makes most of its money on this product via the shipping charges, and on not having a storefront, so SVGames has a lower break-even point; I'd still be surprised if they were clearing more than 70 cents a copy.

Incidentally, The Game Parlor is not stocking E-Tools; the lack of a prestige class editor makes the software impossible to sell at $54.99 (a suggested selling price that they recieved from WotC).

Yep, I pretty much have to agree, E-tools seriously lacks. I listened to people whine about PCGen, and RPM, but those two tools are really alot closer to being useful in a game then E-tools. I can't believe they didn't even label the icons at the top of the screen. They should had at least a word appear when your pointer went over it. $30 a shot, two years too develop, and Luke kicked their butt over a year ago. Unbeleiveable:eek:

I spent $36.00 for it. I like it but why would they put out a product with so many gliches. It's stupid and disappointing. They should have held out a bit longer and made sure that the product was solid.....oh yea plus a nifty case to put it in would have been nice too. But that's my opinion.
